Overview

The curriculum of the school is envisaged around the visions of NCF 2005. The programme is aimed at preparing the students for the examination of the Central Board of School Education at Class 10. The Middle School program emphasizes a multidisciplinary, theme-based approach to offer increased challenge and dimension to exploratory learning fostered in earlier classes. Applying knowledge outside the classroom is at the program’s core. An emphasis on social-emotional learning helps meet growing adolescents’ developmental needs, which is a key factor in students’ academic success.

Mathematics emphasizes conceptual understanding, reasoning, communication, and problem solving. At each level, four major strands are integrated into learning: Data, Numbers, Geometry, and Algebra. This broad perspective on math helps children deeply connect to mathematical concepts and other disciplines. Science fosters inquiry and discovery through an integrated program of physical, earth, and life sciences. Our faculty enhances curricula with hands-on experiments, technology, and mathematical analysis. Innovative classroom practices encourage logical thinking and creative expression.

Technology skills are essential in middle school, and therefore students from class 3 onwards are provided foundational computing skills which deepens the integration of these skills into the learning experience. With technology integrated across the curriculum, students continue to develop proficiencies in computing through the course of their studies.

Through Physical Education, students understand that physical activity provides opportunities for enjoyment, challenge, and self-expression. Teachers encourage students to demonstrate responsible personal and social behavior during activities and emphasize the importance of respecting others.
